About William
My name's William and I've been a fan of German since I started secondary school. I'm currently studying German at Durham University where I'm immersed in the language every day. I have worked for two years in a primary school, looking after the children and teaching them to read. I love teaching as there's no feeling like seeing a concept you've taught somebody click in their mind, and I love to feel as though I am giving a pupil the skills to progress to the next stage in their lives.

I'm keen to make lessons engaging and interesting for pupils, and to teach German in a way that shows the language doesn't have to be as complicated as teachers often make it appear. Learning a language is an exciting experience and is far from impossible. My lesson plan will compartmentalise the language, breaking it down into palatable chunks that make it easy for a pupil to learn.
