I believe in creating a learning environment that is engaging, tailored to the student’s unique needs, and focused on building a deep understanding of the subject matter. My teaching methodology revolves around active learning, where I encourage students to participate in discussions, ask questions, and solve problems interactively. I make use of real-world examples and practical applications to help students see the relevance of what they are learning.
I focus on breaking down complex topics into manageable pieces, allowing students to gradually build their knowledge and confidence. I also adapt my teaching methods based on the learning style of the student—whether they’re more visual, auditory, or hands-on learners.
A typical lesson lasts around 30-60 minutes. This length allows for focused learning without overwhelming, ensuring ample time for both instruction and practice.
I have experience tutoring a range of subjects, including Computer Science, Biology, Economics and Finance and have worked with students of various ages and academic levels. I have many years of tutoring experience in these subjects and it is something that I really enjoy to do. My work experience as an IT Administrator and my background in Computer Science provide me with a solid foundation for teaching technical and analytical topics.
My lessons are designed for students at both GCSE and Alevel levels, who are looking to improve their understanding in any of these subjects or just need study help in prep for exams. Whether you need some help making study materials, some last minute topic questions before an exam or support on a challenging topic, I can help!
