About Eleni
I have 7 years of experience in tutoring. I started at 12 years old. Many of my teachers saw that I really performed academically and wanted me to try to tutor other students. I did. It was a little hard at the beginning because I didn’t know how to explain the way I understood things. I learned with time and I started to be very efficient with this. It even made me realize that explaining the theories and/or concepts of a class is actually a really good studying method. I tutored my whole high school and after.
After trying me as a tutor, my high school started a tutoring program so that the students could ask help to other students ; it made them more comfortable and at ease. After 2 years, the tutors were allowed to gain a salary from this little job. It’s nothing new for me, except for the fact that I may not see you physically but virtually.

I don’t really have an approach for my tutoring because I believe that every student in need of help is different ; one method is not necessarily going to be successful for every student. I usually test the student to see if the misunderstandings that they have are a couple of mixed strings or if they come from way back.
My whole education has been in french ; from birth till now. I’ve always been extremely comfortable in french. I was born in Montreal and still live there. It is my first language. I will help anyone that is under 18 years old because I am at my second year of college. It is a lot of work and want to clarify things to student that had already been taught to me. It’ll be easier for me.
