I also try to give back to my community by teaching and mentoring other students and giving them the opportunity to grow and gain real-world experience.

I am someone who tries to teach by example and show what is actually happening and why something is used. I've always had to teach myself how to learn because I didn't learn like others, so I have taught myself to look into how things work and how they are used. That goes to how to use equations or how to use a tool to make something work. I want to show students how something works and how to use an equation to prove it. Real-life examples that we can see can allow someone to get a better understanding of math and science, and that is my goal.
