I am currently a senior in an ASL interpreting program and I will graduate in May with my Bachelor of Arts in ASL interpreting. I grew up using ASL and I was fluent before entering my program!

About Samantha
Anybody can learn ASL, no matter their age, grade, orpast experience. It is a beautiful language with a rich culture that I am always willing to delve into!
As I previously stated, I am a certified and professional tutor. I worked with ASL students often in my community college years as well as in my undergrad, as I was a teacher's assistant for ASL 5.
I am here to support you in the best way I can. That means we will chat about your goals and what you are wanting to accomplish in your journey, and we will focus on those to help you feel confident in your ASL abilities!

The best way to learn ASL and become proficient is to SIGN with others. You just have to dive right into the language to fully understand and comprehend it. I love ASL - it is truly something that is so close to my heart. I love talking about everything to do with the language and Deaf culture as well.
As I previously stated, I am fluent in ASL and I am confident in my abilities. I tutored ASL for 3 years at a college level beginning when I was only a junior in high school, so I have experience with ASL 1-ASL 5 students of all ages and walks of life! Whether you are starting out in ASL, wanting to grow your skills, or just need a qualified ASL user to sign with and practice, I'm excited to get in touch!
