# About Me
Hello! I’m an English student and aspiring educator with a genuine passion for language, writing, and helping others succeed academically. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in English at Georgia Highlands College while also working toward my paraprofessional license.
My approach to tutoring is centered around patience, encouragement, and individualized instruction. I understand that struggling with English or writing does not necessarily mean a student lacks ability, sometimes they simply need someone to explain concepts in a way that makes sense to them. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence without feeling judged.
My academic background has given me a strong foundation in grammar, composition, reading, critical thinking, and written communication. I especially enjoy helping students take ideas that may feel disorganized or difficult to express and turn them into clear, structured, effective writing.
I work with students at different skill levels and can adapt lessons to their individual goals, whether they need help with a specific assignment, want to improve their writing overall, are preparing for an exam, or simply want to become more confident with English.
For me, tutoring is more than helping someone get through their next assignment. I want my students to leave each lesson with skills they can continue using independently. English is not simply a subject or a career for me, it is something I genuinely enjoy, and I hope to share that enthusiasm with my students.
My goal is simple: to help you become a stronger writer, a more confident communicator, and a more independent learner.

My goal is to help you become a more confident, capable, and independent English and writing student. Every learner has different strengths and challenges, so I tailor lessons to meet you where you are and focus on the areas where you need the most support.
Through our lessons, you can develop stronger grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, essay structure, critical thinking, and overall communication skills. I can help you understand how to organize your ideas, build strong arguments, improve sentence flow, and express yourself clearly and effectively.
I also understand that not every student learns in the same way. Whether you learn best through examples, conversation, step-by-step instruction, or hands-on practice, I can adjust my approach to fit you.
Specialized Support
I am happy to work with students who need support beyond a traditional tutoring session. This can include students who are struggling with a particular assignment, preparing for an important paper or exam, having difficulty organizing their thoughts, or simply feeling overwhelmed by where to begin.
I can also provide additional guidance for students who struggle with writing anxiety, confidence, procrastination, or getting their ideas onto the page. Rather than simply giving you the answers, I want to help you understand the process so you can apply those skills to future assignments on your own.
Whether you need help with one specific paper or want ongoing support throughout your academic journey, my goal is to make English and writing feel more approachable, manageable, and even enjoyable.
