About Natalie
I have been a primary school teacher for 4 years. Every day I am responsible for planning and delivering engaging and challenging learning experiences for 33 children. I strive to meet the needs of all of my pupils by getting to know them as individuals as well as learners. I know how fast paced the classroom environment can be and I know that some children require a little extra support to help them develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to feel successful. That is why I am offering my skills as a teacher to tutor and inspire children who lack confidence in certain areas of the curriculum. I am nurturing, patient and creative and I would really love to help as many learners as I can!

First, I get to know your child as an individual. What kind of things do they enjoy? How can I incorporate this into my sessions? How can I use this information to build a positive relationship with them? Next, I get to know your child as a learner. What areas do they need support with? How do they feel about that subject? What kind of ways do they prefer to learn? These are very important questions to ask so that my sessions meet the needs of the child. After that, I assess the child to find out exactly where they are in their learning journey. What are their strengths and what areas do they need support with? All of this information is used to plan engaging and challenging learning experiences incorporating a range of active, multi sensory and hands-on experiences.
