About Aqeel
Meet Your Tutor Hello, my name is Aqeel Arief. I am currently a Junior at Obra D. Tompkins High School, expected to graduate in 2027, and an A Mathematics student. I believe every student can succeed in math with the right support and guidance. My approach combines patience, encouragement, and clear explanations to help students feel confident and capable. When we work together, I focus on breaking down problems into manageable steps, celebrating small successes along the way, and showing how math connects to real-life situations. This not only strengthens skills but also builds a positive mindset about learning. Who Are My Lessons For
Since my strong points in Mathematics are Algebra 1 and 2, I feel the most comfortable teaching students on those too topic,this would range from middle schoolers to high schoolers. However, I have no doubt in my mind I can teach other topics too, including Geometry and basic Math for students in elementary
