About Phoebe
I love math and find myself very mathematically strong. I even taught myself calculus my sophomore year of high school! I also have around 12 years of Irish dancing experience so I even offer dance tutoring. I am currently a junior in high school, so I can better understand the thought process of kids/teens and teach them in a way I know will make sense. I aim to help others better understand math and hopefully see how enjoyable it can be!

I will tutor in a way which best fits each individuals needs; I will explain math problems, show them my thought process and how I would go about the problem, and see how they would go about the problem. Then I would adjust my way of teaching from there. I love to include little tricks and correlate something relevant in the student's life in order to help them better remember important aspects. I also found having the student teach/explain to me the material they just learned aids memory and understanding, so repetition will be a crucial part of my teaching strategy. I can teach mathematics from Kindergarten to AP Calculus AB!
