Hi, I’m Henry — a passionate and dedicated maths tutor here to help you boost your confidence, improve your grades, and truly understand the subject. I’m currently studying for a Level 2 Further Maths qualification and predicted a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths. I’ve achieved Grade 9s in my most recent mock exams and a Grade 8 prediction in GCSE Physics. This strong academic foundation means I know exactly what’s expected at GCSE level and how to guide students through it successfully. I understand that every student learns differently. That’s why I tailor each lesson to suit your needs, explain topics clearly and step-by-step, and make sure you feel confident before moving on. I take a calm, friendly, and structured approach to tutoring. My goal is to help students truly understand the why behind mathematical concepts, not just memorise methods. I break down complex problems into manageable steps, use real exam questions to build confidence, and tailor each lesson to the individual needs of the student. I also focus on improving problem-solving techniques and exam skills, which are essential for top marks. A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, though I’m flexible depending on the student’s needs and focus level. I always begin with a quick review of previous topics to reinforce learning, then move on to the main focus of the session, whether that’s new content or targeted revision. I’m currently completing a Level 2 Further Maths qualification and am predicted a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths. I’ve achieved Grade 9s in my last two mock exams and am also predicted a Grade 8 in GCSE Physics. While I’m early in my tutoring journey, my recent experience with the GCSE curriculum means I understand the challenges students face—and how to overcome them. My lessons are ideal for GCSE Maths students (Foundation or Higher tier), typically aged 13–16. I also welcome younger students preparing for entrance exams or wanting to get ahead. I’m in the process of completing a DBS check for added peace of mind.
