About Arisa
Learning a language can be fun. I am very passionate about teaching Japanese. I want everyone to experience Japanese culture and have a fun time learning Japanese. I have many years of experience tutoring international students in Japan, and I always loved the moment they understood new things, such as grammar, vocabulary or culture. I believe that if you can understand Japanese, you can enjoy Japanese culture like food, manga, anime and music more deeply.

Perfect! Super friendly, and very patient. I'm so glad I found a lovely teacher ️
Perfect! I started studying Japanese in mid-November, and I’m honestly surprised by how much I’ve learned in such a short time. She has taught me grammar, numbers, and hiragana in a way that is clear, practical, and easy to understand.
Her teaching style is very patient and supportive, and she explains concepts step by step, which really builds confidence. Lessons are always well structured but relaxed, making them enjoyable and motivating. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and encouraging Japanese tutor.- Despite his busy work schedule, he consistently makes time to study Japanese and participates actively in every lesson. He is an excellent student who can immediately adapt newly taught grammar and vocabulary to create his own sentences during class.Arisa's response :
Perfect! Arisa is a great teacher, very professional and plans out the lessons in an intuitive way. I would highly recommend taking Japanese lessons with Arisa
- He is a fast learner and an excellent student. He always prepares for the lessons and reviews what he has learned, so he consistently scores high on the tests we give each time. When he doesn’t understand something, he asks questions properly, which is why I believe he is making such quick progress in the language.Arisa's response :
Perfect! She teaches me a lot about more casual Japanese, and phrases that are important to know! She also answers all my questions in an easy to understand way, and also makes sure to test me on things such as writing and speaking so I can improve.
- She is very studious and understands what I teach her quickly. Also, she is a great student who prepares some questions in advance and approaches the lesson very enthusiastically. We often have fun talking about recent Japanese anime and music.Arisa's response :
Perfect! Arisa is very patient and easy to understand. She is a very good Japanese teacher and fun to do lessons with.

I met Arisa in Tokyo, where she looked after my friends and I, and took us to some fantastic eateries.
We only spoke English, and Arisa went out of her way to make sure we were included and looked after throughout our stay. She taught us words and cultural experiences with pleasure and asked us about our own. She was warm, patient, and friendly, and never once hesitated to offer help if (and when) we needed it!
She speaks Japanese at a native level, and her English skills are strong. She has a clear passion for language and culture, and goes out of her way to teach, always ensuring communication is clear and everyone is understood.
I highly recommend Arisa. She has an excellent grasp of how people learn languages, and teaches with patience, care, and understanding.Arisa is a patient and meticulous teacher with a mastery in teaching Japanese. Her lessons are flexible, essential for navigating a subject with so many different challenges.
She is a great teacher who puts a lot of effort into preparing for lessons. She always tailors her lessons to my needs and I highly recommend her to anyone who would like to learn functional and practical Japanese for real life use.
