About Amelia
Hello! My name is Amelia, and I am currently studying Film Production because, as you can guess, I love film. However, I also love to read and just English Literature in general, as I believe that both of these things have the power to change the world. If my teachings can in any way make you love these subjects as much as I do, no matter how hard they may seem, then I would consider that a job well done.

On our first lesson, I will communicate with the student about what gaps they think need fixing or what problem keeps persisting in their feedback from teachers (e.g. essay writing, structure, content knowledge.) Then, I will create a lesson plan for each week, breaking down these issues to address them one by one, so as not to overwhelm the student. I will take a hands-on approach to tackle and develop these problems into strengths. The typical length of a lesson would last about an hour. I aim to teach English Literature and Film Studies to GCSE or A Level students as I received an A in both these subjects at A Level and am currently studying Film Studies at university. I can also teach reading comprehension to primary school students.
