About Thiru
Hi! I'm Thiru, and I'm excited to help you grow in Math and Science. I’ve always loved understanding how things work—whether it’s solving tricky math problems or exploring cool science facts. I scored an A in PSLE Science and an A1 in O-Level E-Math, and now I want to share what I’ve learned with younger students like you. Teaching is something I truly enjoy. I love seeing that “lightbulb moment” when a student finally understands a tough concept. My goal is to make learning fun, clear, and meaningful—so you not only do well in exams but also enjoy the subjects more. I believe every student can do well with the right guidance, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My Approach to Tutoring and Teaching
Techniques and Teaching Methodology:
I believe in making lessons clear, interactive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on building strong foundations by breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable ideas. For science, I use real-life examples and visuals to spark curiosity. In math, I guide students through step-by-step problem-solving methods and reinforce understanding through practice and feedback. I also use quizzes and short recaps to help students retain what they learn.
Typical Lesson Length:
My lessons typically last 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the student's attention span and the topic's complexity. I always include time for revision, practice questions, and addressing doubts.
Qualifications and Experience:
I scored an A in PSLE Science and an A1 in O-Level E-Math, and I have experience coaching and mentoring students aged 7–15 in both academic and co-curricular settings. I’ve also helped my peers and juniors improve their grades through clear explanation and exam strategies.
Who My Lessons Are For:
My lessons are best suited for primary school students (ages 7–12) who want to strengthen their math and science skills—whether they are struggling to catch up or aiming for AL2/AL1 in exams.
