About Gina
I am a student at the University of Chicago with extensive experience in tutoring, academic writing, and research. I tutor middle and high school students in English, history, and Chinese, and standardized testing prep, adapting each lesson to the student’s curriculum, learning style, and academic goals.
I graduated near the top of my class from Middlesex School, where I served as Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper and led a 34-person staff. I have also completed advanced humanities programs at Columbia University and Stanford University and my research paper on punishment theory drew from 98 sources and was published in an academic journal.
I have a 1580 SAT score, 118 TOEFL score, and got 5s in 8 AP subjects.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to strengthen their confidence, critical-thinking skills, and ability to work independent
