About Triparna
Since childhood, I have been an avid reader in the English language, including educational and leisurely reading, which has helped me develop a versatile vocabulary. Although not a native English speaker, I have near proficient level of English, which helped me secure an 8.5/9 on my IELTS exam. In my previous role as a Copyeditor of scientific research articles, I learned the nuances of academic writing, including referencing and academic language, as well as develop strong proofreading, grammatical, idea flow, sentence structure, and word choice skills. As a current postgraduate student in the UK, I have come across many international students who struggle to communicate in English, which inspired me to be a tutor so that students can gain confidence in their English reading, speaking, and writing abilities.
