About Liam
While I was never the strongest math or science student, I've always had a knack for languages. Originally from NJ, when I was 16 I did my first "homestay" in rural Argentina, returned fluent in Spanish and very interested in meeting people from different cultures. I returned to Argentina during college from my "study abroad" semester, and after graduating college, served in the US Peace Corps in Armenia, teaching English to students from elementary-high school. Since my time in the Peace Corps, I've worked in the Tech StartUp world in NYC, continuing to dabble in Spanish speaking non-profit work on the side. I'm currently finishing up my Full Time MBA @ Fordham.

I am customer-centric when it comes to lesson plan preference. I can do more formal lesson planning , but also am happy to have lessons be more practical, and conversation driven in nature. Typically we can use the student's Spanish homework from school and build off that.
As a current graduate student myself who has previous experience both as a tutor and being tutored, I have a good understanding of the different approaches to tutoring, and how to make things impactful but fun! We can be flexible based off the students preferred learning style.
