About Donovan
I am a current student at UCCS. I have spent a lot of time learning mathematics, even way beyond the scope of my classes in fields such as algebraic geometry and differential topology. So as someone who has spent a lot of time studying alone and teaching myself higher topics, I always encourage people that I tutor to really try to grasp the intuition behing solving problems rather than just simply giving them a cut out procedure. I encourage curiosity and critical thinking.

I walk people through the main big ideas and then encourage them to work with examples and rather than give them answers, coach them through solving problems. Additionally, Itry to give as much real world application or something alongthe lines to make concepts seem as natural as possible.
