About Daniela
I am currently completing my bachelor’s degree in history at King’s College London to then achieve a PGCE in teaching history.
My first language is Portuguese but I am also fluent in Spanish and English. As a non-native English speaker, I achieved a 9 in GCSE English Literature, English Language as well as GCSE in Spanish and an 8 in History. For my A Levels I received an A in History and English Literature as well and I can help you achieve the same.
I have experience in tutoring history at GCSE level and I have shadowed teaching lessons for history to help those who needed further assistance in class. Moreover, I have work experience at Queenswell Primary School, where I observed the teacher and helped children practice reading skills.
I have a great passion and interest in humanities and I have always been a high achiever so I understand those who desire excellent grades and have a curiosity for the wonderful world of history.

I have a slow and patient approach to teaching as I believe that no learning can be achieved without making mistakes. My teaching style caters to detail and the needs of different students, whether it be learning to read in Spanish or English, proof reading essays and giving informative feedback on improvement, spell-checking, improving Spanish, Portuguese or English accents and consolidating history knowledge through essay marking and quizzes.
I will often target weaknesses in writing and learning to ensure that progress is made. That being said, I try to make lessons relaxing and engaging to create a positive environment that doesn’t feel overwhelming for students.
