About Jacob
Hello! I have a passion for education and hope that I can help you on your education journey. I am a Math Department Chair at a private school in Philadelphia. Throughout my time there, my students have done exceedingly well on standardized exams and taken the skills they've learned to do well in future classes. I have worked with students from various educational backgrounds and math comfort levels. Students whom I tutor have improved outcomes in their classes once they begin receiving my help.

I make custom worksheets that we go through together. I continuously look to identify gaps in past learning so that they can be filled in. It is important to me to set you up with a better approach to learning and not just to get by on the topic I teach you. Depending on the tutee's learning style, I also use visual aids to demonstrate concepts. Most of my experiences are with high school students, but I tutor all ages.
