About Risima
Indoor rowing has been my life for about 5 years now. In my first year of varsity, I found water rowing and since I've never felt more alive. I find the sport has brought a certain discipline to my life, along with an addiction for getting better at it, but the one thing I love most about the sport is the freedom it gives me.

I coach water rowing as well as gym.
In rowing a sense of explosion is built through the leg drive, but rather than trying to get "there" fast I focus more on working with what you have been given. Rowing isn't about strength, it's about technique, and my technique allows for proper recovery with a good focus on length of the stroke.
