About Finlay
I am a second year economics undergraduate at The London School of Economics. I have a real passion for maths, hence why I took both Maths and Further Maths at A-level, achieving an A* and A respectively. Therefore, helping others understand mathematical methodology is extremely rewarding. Previous students have enjoyed the structured yet relaxed approach I take, while gaining a lot of independence towards the final sessions. Offering 1-1 tailored GCSE mathematics sessions that target individual needs and strengthen areas of uncertainty. The best results are achieved when students attend sessions with a particular topic in mind. This allows us to use the time in the most productive way possible, working through problems. However, if needed, we can spend some time identifying the best areas to cover to maximise marks in the exam and ensure grade improvement. Previous students have found this methodology to be extremely effective in securing them the grades they need and often even above. I have had 100% satisfaction from students with an array of abilities. Lesson time if very flexible and anyone is free to increase the length of sessions are you near exam time.
