About Via
I've been playing the alto saxophone since middle school and now around 8 years, and starting in high school I picked up the clarinet to make it my secondary. I've played 7 instruments in public performances, with 6 being in ticketed events, not to mention the ones I learned while taking music education courses. I have experience on all common saxophones as well as both Bb and bass clarinets, and flute. If you have a question as my student, I will do my best to answer it. If I don't have one, I will ask someone who knows because it is more important for you to have correct information, rather than me saving my dignity.

Both classical and jazz lessons will likely use a lesson or etude book. Jazz lessons will be more freeform, akin to the genre itself, however the overall structure of the lesson will depend on the student's level and overall vibe.
My saxophone lessons are aimed towards beginner to intermediate players, whether that be elementary-early high school level, or adults picking up something new.
My clarinet lessons are aimed towards strictly a beginner audience as I have more experience on sax.
Not many tutors teach jazz clarinet, but it's important to learn for clarinet students who are interested in jazz band, but don't want to pick up a new instrument.
