About Sophie
Hi my name is Sophie,
Im a 2nd year student at Macquarie University studying a bachelor of Information Technology with a major in business Information Systems and I have a passion for blending business and other softskills such as creativity , public speaking and marketing with technology to find innovative solutions.
My work experience as a current robotics/engineering tutor (K-YR6) for the small company young Robotics allows me to break down complex engineering concepts in order to explain them in bite sized and fun memorable ways. My mission in these classes is to focus on the individual student and uplift kids who may be struggling by challenging them and pushing them outside their comfort zone. My further work experience includes working as a technician on Apples Genius Bar where troubleshooting and problem solving was required to solve issues under timed appointments and administration assistant meaning I love to be organised and plan out lessons in detail!
I may look super serious on my profile but I love to have fun in my lessons and I'm more than happy to work with you with any changes or suggestions for our lessons to liven it up and make it more interactive and dynamic for you!
