About Annika
Aside from my time at Berklee as a Vocal Performance major and Teaching minor, I have several years of experience teaching a wide age range of students how to sing, play guitar, and many other instruments at a local music school. I have experience running rock bands, teaching young children and adults at a wide range of skill levels. I look to make students feel comfortable with their teacher and trust that I will never judge or negatively criticize their learning efforts or talents. Music should feel good and learning new things can be frustrating; I hope to be a tutor that makes each student feel safe and catered to in every lesson.

I like to teach students slowly and with patience, as learning music is a new language that requires lots of processing and repetition to get a handle on playing!
My lessons consist of teaching basic guitar skills alongside learning songs the students enjoy and want to learn to play.
Guitar lessons are for intro level students who want to play mainly acoustic guitar.
