About Corran
As a creative individual, nothing excites me more than the art of storytelling. From crafting characters to building immersive worlds, I am passionate about bringing narratives to life in a way that captivates and engages audiences. My love for mood-building comes naturally to me, and I pride myself on my ability to create a unique and compelling atmosphere in my work. Whether it's through the use of evocative language or carefully chosen visuals, I know how to transport people to another time and place.
Directly from my final year review feedback, my tutor explains that what sets me apart is that my ‘skill is showing sensitivity and detail that offsets the raw and chaotic pieces. Mood-building comes naturally to you and this is where your creativity is most successful. There is a strong personal voice and you are well-informed and inspired by fashion references from historical, theatrical, and vintage sources’. I am constantly inspired and like to cross-reference traditional and obscure subject matter to create a unique perspective. I am always eager to learn more and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and styles, while also incorporating my distinctive perspective into curation.
One of my favourite aspects of my work is taking a vision and turning it into something that not only makes the product sellable but also truly exciting. I love the challenge of taking something ordinary or everyday and infusing it with a compelling narrative that makes it stand out. Overall, I am confident that my passion, creativity, and distinctive outlook make me an excellent fit for any creative storytelling role. Whether it's in the realm of fashion, entertainment, or beyond, I am excited to use my talents to create immersive, engaging experiences for audiences everywhere.

I focus on mood boarding, client profiles, client research, colour boards, texture boards, styling, trend research, mood research, branding, idea generation, fashion history, theme research, general suggestions and direction.
I try to make my sessions: inspiring, driven, motivating and creative.
I have taught and assisted a drama company. I have also been a mentor to various students as well as been commissioned from designers/artists. I work currently as a curator and art director in the industry.
