About Emerson
My name is Emerson Vanegas. I have recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature with a Minor in Spanish Linguistics from CSUDH. For the last two years and three months I have worked as a Teacher Assistant at a Southern California High School. I have served dozens of students from different backgrounds as they learn English as a second language and adapt to their new reality in the United States.
As a native Spanish speaker and supported by my knowledge from my major, I have been able to provide the most convenient tools for my students to appropriately learn and adapt to an emergent language, and have walked them through diverse in-classroom skills to enrich their target language.

As a bilingual and native Spanish speaker I will be able to teach you the target language from zero. My lessons include fun activities in which you will learn the basic sentence, pronunciation and language structures that are necessary to develop a proper spoken and written Spanish.
What distinguishes me as a tutor is my experience as Teacher Assistant with High School students for more than two years in different sets of classroom environments and teaching techniques.
My lessons are for anyone who may already be native Spanish speaker and would like to develop better skills such as: pronunciation, grammar, etc. Also, lessons will be designed as needed for beginners.
