About Chris
Hey there! I'm Chris, and I love learning!
I tutor here because I also love helping you, and other people, on their learning journey.
When people have their own "lightbulb moments" it makes it all worthwhile for me.
I've mentioned elsewhere that I'm an experienced high school science and biology teacher. When I finished teaching, I worked as a minister in a church for some years. And now enjoy running my own small business... as well as continuing to tutor.
There's no learning hurdle that we can't leap over together... when we put a bit of time, focus, and fun into the mix.

We'll focus on learning that matches YOUR needs. That means we'll discuss where you have gaps in understanding. And we'll focus there first.
Be prepared for an interactive time together. With me asking questions. And you answering.
This is to help me understand what you know. And to get you THINKING.
We can work with your school resource material. And discuss things like assignments and exam preparation.
To help you understand, I will share my screen. And draw or show examples.
We'll work together... so you can master science... and love your learning along the way.
Things to know...
• Suitable for year 9, 10 and 11 high school science students.
• Sessions are 50-minutes. Starting and finishing promptly.
• Tutoring is over Zoom. So you can learn from anywhere.
• I'm happy to speak with parents/guardians briefly at the end of a session, if there's any questions.
• I'm a New Zealand-trained secondary school Science and Biology teacher. Who also holds a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacology and Physiology). And a Bachelor of Divinity.
• Fun fact... I run my own email marketing business. Where I specialise in daily email writing.
