I am a highly-motivated Criminology Graduate driven by the desire to make a difference to young people and help them succeed. I can maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young adults while offering authentic warmth to build professional relationships with students. Moreover, I am patient and resilient and can work calmly and have emotional resilience when working with children with challenging behaviours. I have worked with students of all ages, from primary education to graduate level. Whether the subject is Criminology, Sociology, Humanities or basic study skills, I break material down into easy-to-understand concepts. With all my students, I take the time to connect with each one, demonstrating genuine sensitivity when working with those who have special needs. Whatever the topic, my goal is to emphasise the fact that knowledge and access to information are essential to responsible citizenship and participation in a democracy.
