About Radha
I am a postgraduate student that is completing a masters in Communication and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham. I have a passion for tutoring young students as I find it fulfilling to help them understand complex concepts in an easy and fun way, and achieve their academic goals. I also highly enjoy English as a subject, hence the reason for doing a masters in Communication. Private tutoring allows me to focus on teaching this subject as I really enjoy it. Adding onto that, private tutoring can help further enhance my own knowledge and skills in English. By teaching others, I can reinforce my own understanding of the subject matter.

My personalised approach to private tutoring would include using real-world scenarios, collaborative learning and positive reinforcement. By connecting the subject matter to real-world scenarios to help students understand how the concepts they are learning are relevant to their lives. For example, if you are tutoring math, I will use examples of budgeting or calculating discounts to show how math is used in everyday life. Moreover, encouraging collaboration between students to facilitate a more interactive and social learning experience. I will set up group projects or assignments that require students to work together to solve problems. Finally, using positive reinforcement to encourage and motivate students. This can include offering incentives for good performance, providing positive feedback, or celebrating their achievements.
