About Victoria
I am an avid musician looking to teach violin lessons. I have acquired Grade 7 in violin and Grade 5 in singing. I have good experience in reading music, and have subsequently learnt the piano, guitar and drums.
I have never taught music lessons before, however during my sixth form years, I had experience in conducting and training the school orchestra, so I would really look forward to teaching on an individual basis.

I would be happy to teach at grade level for ABRSM or Trinity Music, or for anyone who would just like to try out playing the Violin. I aim to ensure that my pupil is first and foremost, enjoying their time learning the violin.
A lesson structure would depend on the pupils strength's and weaknesses. However, as a baseline, we would go through scales - ensuring that the basis of reading music is understood. Then (for those who would choose to work towards a grade), we would learn and perfect the pieces for the exam.

Rates may vary depending on how far I may need to travel to teach.
I am happy to offer the first lesson of 30 minutes for free, and from then on, if you are happy to continue with me, we can decide on the length of the following lessons.
I would ask that if you do want to cancel lessons that you give me a two week notice. And if you wont be able to attend a lesson that you let me know two days in advance.
