I believe those don't like English or struggle with it have not had a teacher tell them the scope of the subject. I hope to instill a sense of boundlessness in my students, encouraging them to talk about their favourite texts through the lens of those they have to study, eventually finding the common thread that brings any and all literature and creative writing to life.
