About Martina
My name is Martina Andrés, I have a degree in Journalism and I have a master's degree in Creative Writing. Currently I am dedicated to giving private classes while studying a master's degree in International Journalism in Barcelona, a career in Hispanic Philology at the UNED and I am doing a research on the writer Gabriel García Márquez.

What do the classes consist of?
The objective of these classes is to help develop written expression, reading comprehension and creativity through personalized multidisciplinary exercises that stimulate the taste for reading and writing and help to improve the reading habits of boys and girls. These exercises can combine music, painting, photography and other disciplines adapting to the preferences of the student. Specific readings will also be chosen to try to bring them closer to the world of literature that will be worked on in class. On the other hand, we can also work on the development of stories, micro-stories, stories, poetry or plays based on these readings and exercises.
What can they contribute?
In addition, to improving the written expression and promote a taste for reading, these classes help to develop creativity in all areas, to learn about other artistic disciplines and, perhaps, most importantly, to develop critical thinking about what is being read. As a journalist specialized in Creative Writing and narrative journalism, I consider that it is very important to educate our children and young people so that they know where what they read comes from and who is behind it, that they know how to identify quality information or texts from those which are not suitable. . This is achieved by developing reading comprehension and teaching to the kids the procedures through which written texts and speeches are created and structured.
