About Lily
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with more than 7+ years of experience teaching students from different backgrounds including school, college, and working professionals. I enjoy making learning simple, engaging, and effective. My teaching approach is based on communication, flexibility, and encouragement.
I customise my lessons according to each student’s goals and learning pace. I focus on building strong basics and gradually improving skills. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, rhythm training, and ear development to help students become confident musicians. I also include song-based learning and practical exercises to make lessons interesting.
My strength is simplifying learning and making it enjoyable. I help students build confidence, improve consistency, and develop good practice habits. I believe in creating a friendly and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to learn and grow.

My teaching methodology emphasises confidence-building, creative, and student-centred learning. I believe piano education should foster technical mastery and artistic expression while keeping the lessons enjoyable and motivating. Through clear communication, I understand each student’s goals, challenges, and learning style, allowing me to design lessons that are engaging, personalised, and highly effective.
Creativity is central to my approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore different musical genres, developing a personal voice and artistic confidence. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and learning preferences, creating a positive and productive learning environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology strengthens technical skills, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My goal is to nurture confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
