About Lakshmi
As a Counseling Psychologist, I am committed to helping individuals improve their emotional well-being through compassionate, evidence-based therapy.
I have specialized training in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Relationship Counseling, helping individuals and couples navigate emotional challenges with empathy and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
In PTSD counseling, I support clients in processing traumatic experiences, reducing trauma-related symptoms, and rebuilding a sense of safety and emotional stability. I incorporate trauma-informed care, grounding techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and emotional regulation strategies to help clients heal at their own pace.
In relationship counseling, I work with individuals and couples experiencing communication difficulties, trust issues, conflict, attachment concerns, emotional distance, breakups, and family or marital challenges. My approach focuses on improving communication, fostering healthy boundaries, strengthening emotional connections, and developing practical conflict-resolution skills.
