About Joyce
Design is an iterative process. Precision matters. My background in large scale practices informs every piece of advice I offer on rendering and site analysis. We spend time refining the presentation boards to ensure your concept is legible to a panel.
I have 13 years of experience in model making and SketchUp workflows. It is quite rewarding to see a project gain clarity through careful spatial planning. Sometimes we pivot.
Often we iterate on the core idea until the theory matches the physical output. You will develop a professional approach to your design work. This preparation sets you up for success in your upcoming studio reviews.

I spent a decade working as a designer at Zaha Hadid and Foster + Partners. Architecture is rarely about following a predefined path.
I hold an MArch and a BEng from Imperial. My students are typically beginners or A-level design candidates seeking to improve their technical output. I emphasise the intersection of spatial planning and 3D modelling.
Theory must inform the sketch. My focus remains on clear communication within your portfolio.
