About Theodoros
I am a Cypriot conductor, currently 26 years old. I began my musical path studying violin and piano, later completing choral conducting studies at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. I am now continuing my development in orchestral conducting at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden. I have had the privilege of working with ensembles such as the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra, the Moravian Philharmonic, the Estonian National Symphony Sinfonietta and Filharmonia Pitești. I am also the founder and conductor of the Musica Vivere International String Orchestra. I have taken part in masterclasses with Michalis Economou, Tomáš Netopil, Anu Tali and Olari Elts, and have served as assistant conductor of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra. My experience also includes work with Fortis Chamber Choir, the baroque ensemble Quantum Satis and the Children’s Choir of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. Alongside conducting, I perform as a collaborative pianist, appearing in chamber concerts across Germany, the UK, Estonia, Cyprus and Russia.
