About Cecilia
I have been teaching music for the last six years, and in that time I've been working on going back to school and educating myself even further on my understanding of music. I also performed with a band for four years and recorded an album. I am always happy to talk to you about what it's like performing in a group or even flying solo. I will tailor your lessons to exactly the direction you're going in, and I will always be flexible with you if you need to switch things up.

My lessons involve working on a balance between technique and performance. Working on technique provides a basis of how to use your instruments without injuring yourself, and helps improve the way you perform over time. I've spent over 20 years performing in orchestras, bands, ensembles, etc., so I know what is needed to get to a performance level. However, even for beginners who aren't focused on performing just yet, I know how to start building that level of awareness you need to eventually get to that point.
