About Cyrus
For over 4 years, I’ve been tutoring middle school students in algebra. With a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science, I bring both knowledge and creativity to my teaching. I focus on the foundations—linear equations, polynomials, and functions. These areas often cause the most confusion, but I simplify them with care. Puzzles and games make practice more engaging. Real-world scenarios, like budgeting or sports, show why algebra matters. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my style. I’ve worked with visual learners, hands-on learners, and those who need repetition. Many of my students struggle with math anxiety, and I’ve helped them build confidence.
