About Chris
I’m a concert guitarist and conservatory graduate with a degree in music theory and harmony and over 13 years of experience. Over the past 10 years, I’ve played in more than 10 bands and performed over 100 live shows across different venues and settings.
I’ve had the opportunity to open for established international acts such as The Strokes and Toploader, which has given me valuable real-world performance experience. Alongside performing, I enjoy teaching and helping students develop both technical skill and musical confidence, drawing directly from my experience as a working musician.

My guitar lessons are structured, personalised, and focused on long-term musical development. Lessons typically last one hour and are adapted to each student’s level, goals, and musical interests.
As a concert guitarist and conservatory graduate with 13 years of experience and a strong background in music theory and harmony, I work with beginners through to advanced players. My main genres of expertise are blues, rock, and jazz, and lessons can cover technique, improvisation, harmony, rhythm, and applying theory in a practical, musical way.
