About Sean
While obtaining my M.M. in Music Composition at Western Illinois University, I held two Graduate Assistantships where I was able to gain experience tutoring undergraduate, graduate, and international students in Music Theory, Aural Skills, Analysis, and Music History. Many of the students who I worked with were able to develop a deeper understanding of the class material and be successful in their class throughout the semester.

I seek to create a positive learning environment where each student's individual needs are met leaving them encouraged and equipped with the tools they need to succeed and stay creative! I want my students to follow their musical interests and intuitions and grow as musicians as we work. Every student learns music differently. Lessons are tailored to the needs of the student in an effort to establish their strengths, improve their weaknesses, and motivate them to learn as much as they can.
