I am a professional pianist and organist with advanced degrees in performance. I have taught private piano (and organ) lessons for 38 years. My students excel because I make lessons fun, and teach them how to practice so the whole experience is fun!

I like to mix up a lesson so that it is fun! I customize each lesson to the student's needs so that I can encourage their development by spotlighting what they need the most: rhythm, sightreading, ability to understand the music, etc. I help my students with "tricks" to make the experience easier for them.

Lessons are 30 minutes in length. ($15) A fee is charged for travel. First lesson is free, and payment is expected in advance at the beginning of the month. If cancellations are made with a 24 hour notice, then accommodations will be made to make up the missed lesson.
