About Dr S V N
I hold a PhD in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras with an experience of over 34+years as Teacher, researcher and consultant with specialisation in Water resources engineering. Currently working with a Govt PSU as a Project Director at Hyd. and will be retiring shortly. And therefore would like to teach some of civil engineering subjects especially statics, mechanics, fluid mechanics, hydraulics, hydrology and groundwater engineering.

This will be online power point presentation. The methodology shall be based on syllabus content. Begining from fundamental concept to required level shall be explained using an online platform such as zoom, Google duo etc. Clarity in concept and real life application will be the emphasis considering the vast experience I have in teaching, research and consultancy in civil engineering projects.

Dr. SVN Rao has done his Ph.D. thesis with me in the area of Groundwater Management. He has very good understanding of groundwater hydrology, management of water resources, evolutionary computation.
