About Sid
I’m a Computer Science student at King’s College London with over a year of tutoring experience, teaching both GCSE and A-Level students. I’m particularly proud that my students have improved by two grades from where they started, and I love seeing their confidence grow alongside their results.
I completed the IB Diploma, taking three sciences (yes, it was a bit crazy!) with Maths AA HL, Physics HL, Chemistry HL and Computer Science SL. Having experienced demanding subjects and exams myself, I understand how important it is to make difficult concepts feel manageable.
My aim isn’t just to help students memorise content for an exam, but to help them properly understand it, become more confident in their ability, and ultimately achieve grades they’re proud of.

I structure my lessons to keep students engaged and make sure they genuinely understand each topic. We’ll start with a few rapid-fire questions on what we covered previously, helping reinforce learning and identify anything that needs revisiting.
I’ll then introduce new content in clear, manageable steps, using examples and practice questions throughout to check understanding and adapt the lesson where needed. I encourage students to ask questions and work through problems themselves, rather than simply listening.
We’ll finish each lesson with a quick recap of what we’ve covered and a look ahead to the next topic. This approach helps me track progress, strengthen weaker areas and, most importantly, build confidence over time.
