About Faba
I am a second-year student at San Francisco University majoring in computer science with a minor in materials science. I grew up with my mother and brother in San Diego, California, and spent the first half of my life playing baseball or in the library being curious about engineering, computers, and music. I eventually followed my brother's path as he decided to pursue math, but instead, I am pursuing computer science and the broader aerospace industry. I know many people in high school or middle school may not know what they are interested in quite yet, but I would love to be a factor in a students academic success.

As a student of computer science, I understand what’s needed in order to begin learning this subject successfully. Whether it’s coursework or general study, I offer comprehensive tutoring to help build your programming intuition and general computer science knowledge. Textbooks and lectures were very important for me to get started with programming and computer science, but I always felt I needed more, until I finally took the steps to learn these topics while prioritizing real understanding. I believe I can help any student construct real understanding around computer science and programming, and equip you with the skills to succeed in all your computer science ventures! I work with grades 6–12 and will provide accommodations if requested and agreed upon.
