About Joel
I am an MCSPhil Computer Science & Philosophy graduate from University College, Oxford. I achieved a 1st class degree with high 'Distinction' grades in machine learning/AI, computer graphics, formal logic and philosophy of cognitive science.
I have taught privately for several years, helping students get interviews and achieve offers at Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial College London amongst others. I have also taught CS, maths, English and music to younger students with a range of ability, including students with learning difficulties and weaker language proficiency.

I am a software engineer and AI researcher with experience teaching all ages and at varying levels of ability, with particular focus on prospective Oxbridge applicants. I often conduct mock interviews (I myself have been through ten interviews from Oxford/Cambridge/Imperial), have worked on personal statements with students in varying subject areas, and use predominantly Oxbridge tutorial system teaching methods.

Details
For younger students (anywhere from KS1 to end of year 11) I am happy to tutor at a reduced rate of roughly 20% less (e.g. £40 per hour for one session, ~£37.50 per hour for five hours, ~£35 per hour for ten hours)
