In my lessons, I aim to make complex concepts in computer science and algorithms both accessible and engaging. I believe in an interactive, hands-on approach, where students learn not only by listening but by doing. Each concept is broken down into manageable steps, and I provide ample opportunities for students to apply their understanding through coding exercises and problem-solving activities. I use real-world examples to help them see the relevance of what they’re learning, whether it’s sorting algorithms or programming fundamentals. Visual aids, interactive coding platforms, and step-by-step explanations are central to my methodology, which caters to a variety of learning styles and keeps students actively engaged. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, allowing enough time to cover concepts deeply without overwhelming the student.
With a PhD in Computer Science and extensive experience in the consulting market, as well as tutoring GCSE, A-level, and early-career professionals, I bring both depth of knowledge and a passion for teaching to each lesson. My approach is tailored to each student’s level and goals, whether they are preparing for exams, developing programming skills, or learning algorithms for a tech career. I’ve found that students as young as 14, as well as adult learners, benefit from a structured yet flexible approach that builds confidence while challenging them to think critically.
