About Mat
I once worked as a system administrator at an international school in Mallorca, Spain. While there, the computer teacher for years 5, 6 and the lower senior years, 7, 8 and 9, had to leave at short notice. I volunteered to help and took on the classes. I must admit that teaching students how to use VS Code with HTML was a bit advanced for them, but they loved it. So did I. So did the head teacher!

I'm a bit of a talkative type of person, and enjoy discussing literature and history. I'm also very keen on technology and where it is going now that we have LLMs and AI tools dominating computing. I can program using C#, Ruby and Go. I know Java and Python from university, though I use them rarely in industry. I currently work in cybersecurity. I'm very keen to not only teach English, but teach you something else as we learn English.
