About Vani
Learning something new should actually be exciting!! and that's exactly the energy I bring to every session. I'm a math and CS tutor who genuinely loves what I do, and I hope to spread that joy. :)
My own curiosity is what drives me -- I'm the kind of person who goes down rabbit holes just for the fun of it, and I think that love of learning is contagious. Whether we're untangling a tricky concept or finally cracking a problem that's been giving you trouble, I'm right there with you. There's nothing better than those "aha" moments!
I keep things engaging by mixing things up. We'll start with the big picture, dive into real problems, and connect it all back together so it actually sticks. No boring lectures, no just reading off a textbook — we'll learn by doing!

I begin each session with a structured outline so we can stay on track and cover all the material you want to get through. My teaching style is multimodal with a strong emphasis on problem solving — I introduce the theory upfront, work through real problems together, and then return to the theory so everything clicks in context. I have a strong background in math and science, including AP coursework across math and CS, and I've also spent meaningful time teaching younger students the fundamentals of computer science. That experience has pushed me to be creative and adaptable, and it's given me a genuine love for teaching a wide range of skills and concepts.
