About Rachel
My journey into programming began with curiosity about how software systems are built and maintained. This interest led me to earn a B.Sc in Information Technology, where I developed a strong foundation in both theory and practical application. Over 9 years of teaching, I have supported learners at different levels in building confidence through structured guidance. I believe effective programming instruction depends on clarity, patience, and encouragement. Many students struggle initially because they try to memorize code without understanding logic. I focus on helping learners think through problems step by step, ensuring they understand why solutions work. Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with programming through ongoing learning and personal projects. This keeps my lessons current and relevant. Teaching programming is deeply fulfilling because I see students develop independence and confidence, realizing they can solve complex problems through logical thinking.
