About Sam
I started programming in high school and fell in love with it. Since then, I have been studying and working freelance jobs in computer programming for about five years, so I am confident that I will be able to teach and help students understand programming in all its beauty!
I have a degree in Computer Programming from Humber College and am currently attending The University of Toronto for Cyber Security.

My approach as a tutor is for my students to have a vast understanding and confidence in answering questions on an exam, project, or homework.
My methodology for tutoring is that collaborating, being flexible, being patient, and having mutual respect is the best way students can learn. In addition, I encourage students to think for themselves whenever it is possible.
My lessons are for a range of programmers from those just starting to try to achieve a programming degree.
A typical lesson includes:
- assessing the student's current understanding of the material
- create a customized plan for the student
- explain key concepts and ideas clearly
- encourage the student to ask questions
- give them practice problems to work on
- regularly assess the students progress and adjust the lesson if needed
